How to catch Tandemaus in Pokemon GO

As of August 7, 2025, Tandemaus is available during the ongoing Cozy Companions event. The Pokemon is available as part of the event-exclusive Timed Research reward encounters. You also have an increased opportunity of encountering Tandemaus during Party Play in Pokemon GO.

Tandemaus debuted in Pokemon GO through the Ultra Unlock: Better Together event that was hosted on July 17, 2024. It's been available through Field Research, Timed Research, and Collection Challenge since then in various events.

You can also get Tandemaus in Pokemon GO through trade. If your friend has an extra Tandemaus, they can trade with you in case you fail to find one in the wild. Before you engage in it, remember that trades can be expensive if the Pokemon is not registered in your Pokedex.

Shiny Tandemaus is available in Pokemon GO, with a 1 in 512 possibility.
