Pokemon GO Rediscover Kanto Special Research: Tasks and rewards

The Pokemon GO Rediscover Kanto Special Research is now available for you to participate in. There are five steps you need to complete for rewards like Stardust, Lucky Egg, Fast TM, Charged TM, Lure Module, and Egg Incubator.

The Rediscover Kanto Special Research is available for free with the ongoing event in Pokemon GO. The Rediscover Kanto event runs from Monday, April 22, at 10 am PDT to Thursday, May 9, at 8 am PDT.

Rediscover Kanto is the second step of the Rediscover GO occasion, where Niantic is revamping and revitalizing the gameplay. The first step involved the latest Pokemon GO avatar update. The community's response to the latter has been largely negative, with some suggesting that Niantic was "hiding reviews on the app store."

• Use 5 Berries to catch Pokemon - Bulbasaur encounter
• Feed your buddy 5 times - Charmander encounter
• Catch 20 Pokemon originally discovered in the Kanto regions - Squirtle encounter
• Rewards: 5000 XP, 2500x Stardust, 1x Lucky Egg

Step 2 of 5

• Use 10 Berries to help catch Pokemon - 20x Poke Ball
• Play with your buddy 3 times - 15x Great Ball
• Catch 30 Pokemon originally discovered in the Kanto regions - 10x Ultra Ball
• Rewards: 5000 XP, 2500x Stardust, 3x Fast TM

Step 3 of 5

• Use 15 Berries to help catch Pokemon - 10x Razz Berry
• Earn 25 hearts with your buddy - 10x Nanab Berry
• Catch 40 Pokemon originally discovered in the Kanto region - 10x Pinap Berry
• Rewards: 5000 XP, 2500x Stardust, 3x Charged TM

Step 4 of 5

• Use 20 Berries to help catch Pokemon - 25x Bulbasaur Candy
• Earn 4 Candies exploring with your buddy - 25x Charmander Candy
• Catch 50 Pokemon originally discovered in the Kanto region - 25x Squirtle Candy
• Rewards: 5000 XP, 2500x Stardust, 1x Lure Module

Step 5 of 5

• Use 151 Berries to help catch Pokemon - 15100 XP
• Earn 15,100 Stardust - 15100 XP
• Catch 151 Pokemon originally discovered in the Kanto region - 15100 XP
• Rewards: 10000x Stardust, 1x Egg Incubator

The Rediscover Kanto Special Research has no time limit within which you need to complete the questline.
