The Pokemon GO Sustainability Week Collection Challenge is now active in-game for willing trainers to try and complete. It is relatively easier in this event, with players only having to get two Pokemon per task (one you have to catch and the other you have to get through evolving).

Sustainability Week 2024 runs from Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10 am local time to Friday, April 26, 2024, at 8 pm local time. Apart from a handful of Field Research encounters and 2 km egg hatches, trainers get to enjoy a couple of Buddy Pokemon event bonuses, such as the halving of the distance to earn buddy hearts.

Barring the Sustainability Week 2024, the community is currently discussing the latest Pokemon GO avatar update and its shortcomings. Social media is filled with posts of players expressing their disappointment and displeasure. The avatar update came as a part of the Rediscover GO campaign.

One player also suggested that Niantic was "hiding reviews on the app store." It remains to be seen how and if the developers choose to address and repair the matter.
