
Rod Brind’Amour is the head coach for the Carolina Hurricanes as of May 2025. He became the 14th head coach in franchise history and the fifth since the Hurricanes moved to North Carolina in 1997. He served as an assistant coach from 2011 to 2018 and worked in player development before that. Since becoming head coach in 2018, Brind’Amour has led the Hurricanes to the playoffs in each of his first six seasons. In 2020–21, he became the first coach in franchise history to win the Jack Adams Award.
