Adam Pearce’s most important Titles
Adam Pearce won his first-ever career title, the IWA Mid-South Light Heavyweight Title while working for the promotion by defeating another professional wrestler Cash Flo. He worked for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) from 2006 to 2014. He was a rival to Sean Waltman for the NWA Heritage Title in that promotion on their pro events. Pearce came out on top for that title on 21 October 2006 and lost it back to the same opponent the following year.
During the final of NWA's Reclaiming the Glory tournament, Pearce faced Brent Albright in an NWA World Heavyweight Title match. However, he lost in the semi-finals of the contest against Bryan Danielson but got a second chance due to Danielson's injury. Pearce went on to beat Albright at an IWA event in Puerto Rico and was named the new NWA World Heavyweight Titleholder. He also became the first titleholder after the belt was deprived of TNA.
Pearce defended that title back to two times, the first time was against Sicodelico, Jr. in 2007 in a 30-minute match that ended in a draw, and the second time against Damien Wayne the following year. He lost his title to Albright and regained it from him in the same year at the event of Glory by Honor VII. Pearce's second reign lasted only a month and he lost the title to Blue Demon, Jr. in 2008. In the meantime, Pearce won the NWA British Commonwealth Heavyweight Title by defeating Dru Onyx.
He went on to win the NWA World Heavyweight Title for the third time against Blue Demon, Jr. and Phil Shatter in 2010. He defended the title against Bryan Danielson and lost the title the following year to Colt Cabana. In 2011, Pearce regained the title for the fourth time by defeating Jimmy Rave, Chance Prophet, and Shaun Tempers. Adam Pearce lost the title to Cabana in April 2012 and captured it from him again after two months.
Pearce's fifth and final NWA Title win came against his former opponent Cabana in the fourth match in a series of seven matches, where the NWA championship would be on the line in each match. After moving on from EPIC wrestling promotion, Pearce signed with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) in 2004. He started to feud with Aaron Aguilera, Frankie Kazarian, and Joey Ryan. After defeating Kazarian, Pearce became the second-ever PWG Titleholder and the first-ever heel champion in that promotion. Pearce lost the title to Kazarian in the same year.
