A subsequent sister, Melissa, didn't enter into the professional wrestling business. Carlito's cousin Epico and uncle José Colón also were wrestlers at the World Wrestling Council.

Early life

Carlito completed his graduation from the Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola in the year 1997. He chose to join a gym at 11 years old because of his unsatisfied with his physical conditioning. He has said that he just did so for practice and didn't initially mean to turn into a grappler. It was only after finishing his advanced degree that he chose to prepare. He started noticing that his condition was comparable to the grapplers despite his age.
