Kiari Sane, aka Kaori Housako, was born on September 23, 1988. She is a professional wrestler from Japan who is in contact with the WWE. In November 2023, she officially joined Damage CTRL, which is heel-stable and includes Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, and Asuka.

Sane wrestled for the Japanese promotion World Wonder Ring Stardom under the name Kairi Hojo and won the World of Stardom title (1), the Wonder of Stardom championship (1), the Goddess of Stardom championship (3), and the Artist of Stardom championship (5), all in keeping with her "Pirate Princess" avatar. All of this happened between 2012 and 2017, following which she joined WWE.

After her WWE contract expired, if she was still interested in working in Japan, she could have worked part-time for AEW if travel restrictions had loosened. According to reports then, Stardom wanted to bring Sane back to the firm.

Sane did not want to live in the United States, and an arrangement where she traveled back and forth was not feasible due to COVID-19. However, it was stated that WWE intended to extend Sane's contract and have her return to wrestling.

In 2020, Sane moved back to Japan to live with her new spouse, although she maintained her position as an ambassador for WWE in that nation. She also provided some pay-per-view commentary in Japanese for WWE events. She confirmed her return to Japan shortly after her last match in July 2020.

Sane made a comeback to World Wonder Ring Stardom between February 2022 and March 2023. She also competed in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Stardom's sister promotion, but she subsequently declared herself to be a free agent.

It was rumored in August 2023 that she had reached an agreement with WWE and would be joining the company again.
