
Miroslav Petrov Barnyashav is a Bulgarian-American professional wrestler. As of April 2025, he is in his second stint with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), performing on the RAW brand as Rusev. He has also competed in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he won the AEW TNT Championship once under the name Miro.
Rusev began his wrestling career with New Wave Pro Wrestling before moving to WWE’s Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) as Alexander Rusev. He later became part of the NXT brand. He made his main roster debut at the 2014 Royal Rumble. After his debut, he stayed undefeated by pinfall and captured the United States Championship. With that victory, he became the first Bulgarian-born wrestler to hold a title in WWE.
