He currently wrestles in the NXT brand and is the former one-time NXT North American Champion. Before he made his professional wrestling debut, he pursued a career in football. In February 2021, Belton signed a developmental contract with WWE and was assigned to wrestle under the NXT brand under the name Trick Williams as a bodyguard of Carmelo Hayes. They then formed a team named “Trick Melo Gang” and made his in-ring debut against Fatal 4-Way Elimination Tag Team Match for the NXT Tag Team Championship and lost in his first match.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, he escorted Hayes to the ring, but Williams told Hayes that they needed to part ways to pursue their own accomplishments. Williams then participated and won the #1 Contender’s match for the NXT North American Championship, and eventually won the NXT North American Championship. However he lost the championship on the third day.
