Why does Seth Rollins Wear One Glove?

Seth Rollins was born on May 28, 1986, and is an American professional wrestler performing on RAW, as of November 2024. In the Iowa independent circuit, Seth Rollins made his wrestling debut in 2005 under the in-ring name Ginx. He then joined IWA Mid-South under the in-ring name Tyler Black. In September 2007, he made his ROH debut. He wrestled in a couple of free progressions, like FIP and PWG. He was supported by WWE in 2010 as Seth Rollins. His brightened profession incorporates various titles. He is the winner of the Debut of WWE NXT, a two-time WWE champion, a two-time WWE Universal champion, a two-time Intercontinental champion, a Money in the Bank winner in 2014, and the Royal Rumble winner in 2019. He is seen as one of the most accomplished expert grapplers of all time.

The reason behind Seth Rollins' One Glove

One of WWE's desired and popular faces, Seth Rollins was in an interview with Houston Chronicles in 2020 and addressed most of the queries related to him. When the former WWE Universal champion was asked what the reason behind his one glove, which is also the question of the fans, he quickly responded with an engaging story. Seth "Freakin" Rollins said his finger was broken six weeks ago. So, he had to take a splint so that he could wrestle. As he refused to take a rest, he wore a glove to prevent the splint. Rollins also said he will keep the look for some time and he is eager to see how it works in the future.

“It’s a happy accident. I will say that I broke my finger about six weeks ago and I have to wear a splint when I wrestle, and so I have to wear a glove over the top of the splint to keep it from moving when I’m wrestling. Obviously, I could have taken six weeks off and not wrestled at all, but that’s not really what I do. So, the alternative was trying to tape it, but the tape didn’t seem to keep it on very well. So, I just put a glove over the top of it to keep it down.

And, and I like, and it’s weird and so it is one of the things that people they say, ‘Why is he wearing one glove?’ The fact that you’re asking me this question means that it’s doing its job. I think we will stick with it and see what the glove becomes over time.”
