The episode began with a flashback scene, featuring Cyan, Ken, and the DOS agency's CEO, Mickey. Cyan also received a modified guitar from Mickey, which not only produced excellent music but also served as a custom weapon. Meanwhile, Ken said the DOS agency wanted to replace Cyan's previous image as the Sacred Maiden with a more "energetic battle angel," with love for music.
She explained that the audience preferred more independent and self-sufficient women than Cyan's previous image. The DOS also assured Cyan that they would arrange mock training sessions to enhance her battle capabilities. Meanwhile, Mickey urged Cyan not to reveal her past, as words have tremendous power in society.
The episode then focused on Cyan, heading to the orphanage after her concert. She met the dean, who wondered if she was compelled by her conscience to relieve her past. The dean explained that the orphanage had suffered tremendous misfortune after Cyan's exit. Many had left, and the orphanage suffered from food shortages.
Meanwhile, Cyan wanted to meet Luo once, as she believed the narrative around his death was false. Yet, the dean reminded her that his existence would only be a burden to her current status. Afterward, the episode delved into another flashback, revealing the dean's conversation with Luo.
He told the boy that his parents, who were on the same plane that crashed, were victims of Ciel's "good fortune." Luo began to perceive Cyan as the culprit who stole his parents' luck and became the only survivor of the plane crash. Meanwhile, Cyan's revelations at the concert sowed seeds of doubt in her followers.
Many of her followers lashed out at her online and hated her fortune. A series of controversies and negative reports were released, which plummeted Cyan's Trust Value. At the same time, the negative emotions of her former followers gave birth to fear particles. The orphanage and District 70 became the epicenter, as it was consumed by the power of Fear.
Cyan wondered if she should tell everyone the truth about her past. However, the DOS agency's CEO questioned the truth, since all the rumours about her past were true. At that moment, Queen appeared at the DOS office. She revealed the existence of a pendrive, containing the recordings of the onboard flight that crashed.
She speculated that the audience needed to know the truth about Cyan's powers. Apparently, her father had given the chip to the dean at the orphanage. As such, Lucky Cyan headed to the orphanage, even though the area reeked of Fear. She transformed her guitar into a bow and shot arrows to dispel fear from the possessed people at the orphanage.
Likewise, she confronted the dean, who was consumed by fear particles. The dean's appearance was transformed into a grotesque being. Although he gained impressive powers due to Fear particles, Cyan's resolve was stronger. She used a kind of repellent and crushed the dean with the guitar, which broke in the process.
After subduing the dean, Cyan headed to his office and found the chip she was looking for. However, she faced Luo, who held Cyan responsible for his parents' deaths. Although Cyan wanted to tell him the truth, the boy didn't want to listen. Cyan plugged the chip into a computer to show Luo its contents, but he broke the machine.
At that moment, Cyan showed Luo the same marble he once used to break her free from her curse. She threw the marble, which struck a fire extinguisher. Consequently, the water sprinklers were activated. Somehow, the water turned on the computer and projected the visuals from the aeroplane.
According to the visuals, the flight's passengers, including Luo's parents, had rested all their hope on the little Cyan, and wished for a miracle so that she could live. That's how she was blessed with the powers of good fortune. Having realized the truth, Luo broke down in tears and reconciled with Cyan.
Meanwhile, the truth changed fans' perception of Cyan. She shot up to rank 7 in no time and became a prominent hero. Furthermore, the Commission acknowledged the existence of a power different than Trust Value and named it Fear. Meanwhile, Queen's father, Liu Zheng, was glad to have trusted Mickey.
