Evan Phillips was initially drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 17th round of the 2015 MLB draft and started his professional baseball career with the Rome Braves in 2015. As a result, the Los Angeles Dodgers had to place him on the 15-day injured list on May 5, 2024, and he was sent to rehab in the minor leagues while recovering. He was activated again on May 31, 2024.

Right Elbow Inflammation

Evan Phillips suffered from a right elbow inflammation on September 23, 2020, as per the MLB official site. He suffered from the injury during a game against the Boston Red Sox while pitching against Christian Vasquez and Jackie Bradley Jr. as per MASN. The Baltimore Orioles had to put him on the 10-day injured list on September 23, 2020, and then activated him on September 28, 2020.
