Max Muncy is a professional baseball player from the United States, serving as an infielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers since 2018. He was born on August 25, 1990, in Midland, Texas. Muncy honed his baseball talents early and played college baseball at Baylor University from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, he competed in collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2010 and 2011. In the fifth round of the 2012 MLB draft, he was chosen by the Oakland Athletics. After playing in their minor league system, he made his major league debut on April 25, 2015.

On April 27, 2017, Max Muncy signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers and began his MLB career with them in 2018. Notably, he earned a World Series Championship while playing for the Dodgers in 2020. Furthermore, Muncy has been selected as an MLB All-Star in 2019 and 2021.
