Xander Jan Bogaerts is an Aruban professional baseball shortstop who plays for the San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball (MLB) as of 2025. He was born on October 1, 1992, in San Nicolaas, Aruba. He made his MLB debut on August 20, 2013, with the Boston Red Sox.
