2013 EuroBasket: Quarterfinal fixtures

Following the completion of the second round of the 38th edition of the FIBA Europe Championship for Men, better known as 2013 EuroBasket, below are the quarter-final fixtures of the championship. The championship is ongoing at Slovenia.

2013 EuroBasket Quarterfinal Fixtures

1. Serbia vs Spain
2. Slovenia vs France
3. Croatia vs Ukraine
4. Lithuania vs Italy

The first two quarter-finals will be played on 18 September 2013, while the remaining quarter-finals will be played on 19 September 2013.

On the last day of the second round, Croatia beat Greece 92 -88, Italy beat Spain 86 – 81 and Finland beat Slovenia 92 – 76 in the group F matches. Despite the win on the last day, Finland crashed out of the championship along with Greece from group F.

Below is the final standing of Group F of the second round of the 2013 EuroBasket. The top four teams qualified for the quarter-finals. Croatia surprised hosts Slovenia and defending champions Spain to top group F.

1. Croatia: 9 pts.
2. Slovenia: 8 pts.
3. Italy: 8 pts.
4. Spain: 7 pts.
5. Finland: 7 pts.
6. Greece: 6 pts.

The top six teams from 2013 EuroBasket – excluding Spain, as they have already qualified as hosts, will get their ticket to the 2014 FIBA World Cup. 24 European nations are participating at the ongoing event.
