2013 EuroBasket: Defending champions Spain beat Czech Republic on Day 4

After their shocking lost to the hosts Slovenia in previous match, defending champions Spain beat Czech Republic 60-39 in their first round clash on the day four at the ongoing 2013 EuroBasket at Ljubljana.

Spain took the first quarter 18-7, while Czech Republic took the second quarter 18-15. After the break, Spain came out strong to take the third and fourth quarter 14-12 and 13-2 respectively for the win. Rudy Fernandez top scored with 14 points for Spain while Pavel Pumprla and Jan Vesely scored seven points each for Czech Republic.

Below are results of all the matches on the fourth day of the first round of the 2013 EuroBasket. The top six teams from 2013 EuroBasket – excluding Spain, as they have already qualified as hosts – will get their ticket to the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
