2014 Asian Beach Games: India beat China to enter 3x3 basketball quarters

Indian Men’s team defeated China 18 – 12 in their last group B encounter to enter the quarterfinals of the 3x3 men’s basketball of the ongoing 4th Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand. Pratham Singh netted 6 points, Vishesh Bhriguvanshi scored 3 points, Amritpal Singh scored 6 points and Yadwinder Singh scored 3 points to beat China.

South Asian neighbor Bangladesh also enter the quarter final of the 3x3 men’s basketball after beating Oman 17 – 14.

2. Thailand VS Oman
3. India VS Turkmenistan
4. Qatar VS Mongolia

Meanwhile China, Chinese Taipei, Mongolia and Thailand enter the semifinal of the women’s category of the 3x3 basketball of the 2014 Asian Beach Games. China will play Thailand while Chinese Taipei will play Mongolia in the women’s semifinals.
