#3 Paul Millsap

Paul Millsap's numbers have certainly dropped over the last few years, but his veteran presence and respectable output at this stage of his career can still prove to be quite impactful. He is coming off a season where he averaged 9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game across 56 appearances. He started 36 times for the side and did a decent job as a bench player too.

Millsap isn't the best of long-range shooters, but his two-pointers still have a decent edge. He converted 47.6% of his field-goal attempts overall, with at least 5 of his 8 attempts coming from the two-point range. Millsap offers size and defense, something the Nuggets largely benefited from in his four-season stint with the club.

So far, the Phoenix Suns and Minnesota Timberwolves are two teams rumored to be interested in Millsap's services. Apart from that, Millsap is rumored to be open to signing with either the Golden State Warriors or Atlanta Hawks.

#2 DeMarcus Cousins

HOUSTON, TEXAS - FEBRUARY 11: DeMarcus Cousins #15 of the Houston Rockets in action against the Miami Heat during a game at the Toyota Center

Former All-Star DeMarcus Cousins made a decent comeback last season, splitting his time between playing for the Houston Rockets and LA Clippers. He averaged a decent 8.9 points and 4.4 assists per game, playing 36 games in total. It was his playoff run with the Clippers, though, that could see him sign with an NBA franchise soon.

Cousins was offered a significant amount of playing time against the Phoenix Suns in the Conference Finals, with Ivica Zubac and Serge Ibaka both sidelined with injuries. He shone for the team with some impactful performances off the bench, scoring 10+ points in just over 10-15 minutes of playing time in three different matches.

Cousins is nowhere close to the player he was 3-4 years ago but proved with the Clippers that he can be an efficient player to have in your ranks and can step up when the team needs him to. He seems motivated at the moment and must have taken a lot of positives from his stint in LA.

There are no concrete rumors on which teams are eyeing him currently, but there are plenty of them looking for backup centers or a third-option at the five, and Cousins could definitely fit well in those roles.

#1 JJ Redick

JJ Redick's name has floated around in free agency rumors for a long time now. He has been linked with contenders like the LA Lakers and Brooklyn Nets and would be a terrific addition to any squad because of his offensive skill set.

Redick is coming off an underwhelming 2020-21 NBA season plagued by injuries. He played 44 games (31 with the New Orleans Pelicans and 13 with the Dallas Mavericks) last season. He averaged just 7.4 points per game, shooting 39.7% from the field.

Redick's shooting remains a threat despite his poor production in the recent campaign. He has had a long offseason to cover and there is reason to believe the 36-year old can still play a key role for a title-contending team off the bench. The market for sharpshooters will be in demand, so it won't be surprising to see Reddick being signed by a team soon.
