#1 No threat from beyond the arc

Kyle Kuzma has quickly become known for his scoring ability, but the forward has yet to develop any sort of consistency from beyond the arc. During his rookie year, Kuzma knocked down a respectable 36% of his three attempts, although this tally has plummeted to just 30% for the current campaign.

To put this figure into perspective, Kuzma has attempted 422 threes, knocking down just 128 of them. This sets Kuzma's accuracy only slightly above Russell Westbrook, and Kuzma's shooting problems will be an issue for the Lakers going forward.

LeBron James has always functioned best when surrounded by shooters, and Kuzma looks unlikely to thrive in a catch and shoot role. The Lakers also have the second worst three-point percentage of the 2018-19 season, and with all things considered, the Lakers should consider moving Kuzma on this summer.
