Stat line: 11 points, 12 rebounds,15 assists and 3 steals on 44.4% shooting

The Philadelphia 76ers had a win-loss record of 38-30 and were on a two-game winning streak when they hosted the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets were 30-40 and it looked like they were going to miss the playoffs for a second straight season.

Ben Simmons, who had 21 points and 12 assists and fell 2 rebounds shy of a triple-double three nights earlier against the Brooklyn Nets, did not miss out this time and made sure he got the triple-double. He posted figures of 11 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists without getting involved in a single turnover.

Simmons was a ridiculous +30 on the night, and finished the game shooting 44.4 percent from the field. For the 76ers, four starters scored in double digits, along with Marco Belinelli who scored 21 points, coming off the bench.
