Milwaukee Bucks star Jrue Holiday is often considered one of the best defensive players in the NBA. However, he is also an incredibly effective passer and playmaker.

Holiday was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2009 NBA Draft. Over the span of his 12-year career, he has accumulated a total of 4,916 assists.

The Milwaukee Bucks are served by the trio of Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo. With such talented players by his side, Holiday looks set to reach the 5000-assist milestone in the 2021-22 NBA season.

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is one of the most dynamic players in the NBA. With a number of honors to his name, he enters the 2021-22 season on the brink of reaching the 5,000 career assists mark.

Drafted in 2009, Curry has played his entire career with the Warriors. He has accumulated a total of 4,984 assists over the course of his 12-year career. Falling short by only 16 assists, it is safe to assume that Curry will reach the 5000-assist mark early in the new season.

Although Stephen Curry's game as a point guard is anything but orthodox, his ability to create plays and find open teammates remains unparalleled. Because of his ability to flat out score, he tends to draw multiple defenders even outside the three-point line, thus freeing up his teammates.

Curry became the Golden State Warriors' all-time assists leader last season.

The primary passer and playmaker on the Warriors team will still be Draymond Green. However, Curry will easily be able to dish out enough assists to reach the 5,000 career assists milestone.
