This may have been a common expression on Steph Curry's face that February night against Portland...

As any NBA fan knows, the Golden State Warriors are in the middle of an amazing run of four straight trips to the NBA Finals, potentially looking for their third NBA Championship during this time. That doesn't mean that every now and again, they're caught sleeping and a team completely destroys them.

This happened two seasons ago, in February of 2016, when the Warriors faced the Portland Trail Blazers. It was the second-worst defeat of the career of Curry when the Warriors lost by 32 points.

Unlike the previous three games covered in this article, Curry's offensive night was pretty decent. He scored 31 points off of 12-for-23 shooting (52%) and he was 7-for-13 from three-point range (54%).

Their problem wasn't offense, but it was trying to stop Damian Lillard on this night. He torched the Warriors for 51 points by shooting an amazing 64% from the field and 75% from three as he was 9-for-12.
