The San Francisco Warriors were on a 2-game losing streak and visited New York to face the Knicks. New York had a bad start to their season and were 3-12. Wilt shone again with a monster performance scoring 73 points in a 16-point win.

Wilt was highly efficient and shot 29-43 from the field, with a field-goal percentage of 67.4 and also had 14 rebounds in this one. The entire roster only made 22 shots while Wilt alone made 29. He was 15-19 from the free-throw line.
Though the Knicks only trailed by 7 going into half-time, Warriors came back stronger in the third and fourth quarters and stretched the lead. As a result, the Warriors blew out the Knicks by 16.
