LeBron James didn't make the playoffs last year for the first time since 2005. With critics starting to write off the player as being 'too old', the 35-year-old was on a mission this year to prove his detractors wrong.

The Denver Nuggets had earned a unique reputation for themselves after coming back from 3-1 deficits twice in the 2020 NBA playoffs. As Jamal Murray and the crew looked to pull off another comeback against the LA Lakers, LeBron James took over in the fourth quarter and sealed the deal.

James scored 12 of his 38 points of the game in crunch time, while the rest of the Lakers squad stood still and watched the King do his thing. LeBron James is now set to take on the Miami Heat in his 10th NBA Finals.
