#2 Draymond Green - 14

One of the elite defenders in the game, Draymond Green is having a quiet season just like his employers the Golden State Warriors. The franchise is languishing at the bottom of the Western Conference with a 14-48 record with superstars Steph Curry playing just four games and Klay Thompson still recovering from the ACL injury he picked up during the finals last year.

Green is averaging 8 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists this season while shooting nearly 39% from the field. His discipline has always been an issue and he was nearly suspended for game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors last year. The forward was also suspended for the game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers as the Warriors went on to blow a 3-1 lead to LeBron James and co.

#1 Russell Westbrook - 14

One of the fiercest competitors to play in the NBA, Russell Westbrook gives it all during the game. His commitment can never be questioned and he is one of those players who shows up every night regardless of the opposition.

Reunited with James Harden, Westbrook is having a tremendous campaign for the Houston Rockets. He is averaging 27.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.1 assists while shooting over 47% from the field and has been the main figure of the team in the last two-three months. His jump shot continues to be a concern but with the way he's been playing for the Rockets especially after the franchise decided to go small ball, it isn't that big of an issue for Mike D'Antoni and co.

The guard picked up his 14th technical foul of the season against the Memphis Grizzlies and is now just two infractions away from serving a one-game suspension.
