BOOGIE.
Anthony Davis was ruled day-to-day after leaving the team's game against the Portland Trail Blazers early with some knee issues. That's when DeMarcus Cousins decided it was his turn to dominate and take over. The rest of the Blazers game he played bully ball and put up huge numbers (39 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks) but couldn't sneak out the win
The next game, his first back in Sacramento since being traded, he dominated his former team. Putting up 41 points, 23 rebounds and 6 assists against the Kings, Cousins ensured the Pelicans came away with the win.
Next up were the Conference Champions from the East - the Cleveland Cavaliers. And although Davis returned for the game, Cousins' triple-double (29 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists) played a huge role in making sure that New Orleans rose back to .500 with a huge 18-point win over LeBron James and company.
