The NBA season is back, and unfortunately, it's already plagued by injuries. On Wednesday, the second day of the season, 20 teams played in 10 scheduled games, and five teams suffered injuries to key players.
Several stars had already been ruled out, including Philadelphia's Joel Embiid and Paul George, LA's Kawhi Leonard, New Orleans' Zion Williamson and Trey Murphy III, Toronto's RJ Barrett, Milwaukee's Khris Middleton and Memphis' Jaren Jackson Jr.
Here are five players who were injured on Day 2 of the new NBA season.

#1. Dejounte Murray, New Orleans Pelicans
Dejounte Murray faced the most serious injury of the day, sustaining a fractured left hand during the Pelicans' 123-111 win over the Chicago Bulls.
As reported by ESPN's Shams Charania, Murray, who went from being an Atlanta Hawk to a Pelican this offseason, will be “sidelined for an extended period of time.”
He recorded 14 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.
#2. Immanuel Quickley, Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors experienced a tough 136-106 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and their troubles compounded as Immanuel Quickley sustained a right pelvic contusion.
Quickley fell hard after being fouled in the second quarter. He exited with 2:24 left in the first half and did not return. He scored 13 points and four assists in 14 minutes.
#3. Brandon Miller, Charlotte Hornets
The Charlotte Hornets pulled off an 18-point comeback to defeat the Houston Rockets but lost star sophomore Brandon Miller to injury.
Miller played 11 minutes and scored six points but injured his hip in the first quarter and did not return. The Hornets reported he is dealing with left hip soreness.
#4. Jonathan Isaac, Orlando Magic
Jonathan Isaac also dealt with hip issues, leaving the game due to a sore left hip. However, Magic coach Jamahl Mosley eased concerns about a serious injury, stating “he’s good,” according to reporter Jason Beede.
Isaac, who has gone through several injuries in his NBA career, played 11 and a half minutes on Wednesday, contributing three points and three rebounds before exiting in the fourth quarter.
The Magic dominated the Heat, winning 116-97, thanks to Paolo Banchero’s 33 points.
#5. James Wiseman, Indiana Pacers
James Wiseman suffered a non-contact injury in the first quarter of the Pacers-Pistons game.
He tallied six points and one rebound in under five minutes of action as the Pacers won, 115-109. The injury is a calf issue, and according to Pacers coach Rick Carlisle, he will undergo an MRI on Thursday
