JP Gibson, a 5 year old diagonsed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2012 was signed to a one day contract by the NBA franchise Utah Jazz. He took part in the team’s pre-season blue vs white inter-squad scrimmage and even dunked on an assit from a 7 feet 1 center.

As per his contract with the team, he was a free agent who was signed for one day, 6th of October 2014. He took part in the rookie dance-off before the scrimmage and even warmed up with his teammates.
