#4 Stephen Curry played golf

Steph Curry is as good as it gets for a non-professional in golf. He has stated many times that he would have chosen golf if basketball wasn't an option.

Curry also acknowledges that he is addicted to the sport, and he often thinks about his next round of golf while playing on the NBA court. Despite playing over 100 NBA games in a year, he still finds time for golf.

Will Gray, a golf writer for NBC Sports who watched Curry play in a pro-am event in 2019, said,

"If basketball didn't exist, and he was able to go a full 12 months and just focus on golf, I think he could be competitive on a weekly basis in the pro golf circuit...His game has very few holes, and he's absolutely legit."

Steph Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry attended the Met Gala in New York City. It is a fundraising event that marks the opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit. That ensures that the Metropolitan Museum of Art is well funded and represented.

It is one of the biggest star-studded events of the year, with some of the most acclaimed names attending the Gala. Everywhere you look around the Met Gala, you will find celebrities.

Some famous athletes who attended the event were Russell Westbrook, Simone Biles, Serena Williams, Lewis Hamilton and Megan Rapinoe, among other stars.

Steph Curry also launched his Underrated Tour while partnering with Rakuten, Golden State Warriors' official sponsor. The tour is meant to be a one-of-a-kind training program for unsigned high school players who are yet to be discovered. Curry told the group as they huddled around him on the court:

"This is the thought I had a little over two years ago...A lot of people came together, and brought their ideas and creativity to making this tour possible. You are all here kicking it off in the right way. I appreciate you being here, and I appreciate you being passionate about the game."

The students perform complex ball-handling and shooting drills straight of the Stephen Curry playbook. Just watching Curry operate is enough to inspire young high-school athletes from around the country to work on their games. This year, the camp was flooded with students from all over the world, and not just from California.


Stephen Curry is having one of the most action-packed offseasons in the NBA. and has the sixth-best odds to win the 2022 MVP award.

With Klay Thompson's return on the horizon and a host of acquisitions in the last few weeks, the Golden State Warriors are aiming for the championship next season. The 2021-22 NBA season kicks off on October 19th, with the Warriors facing 17-time champions LA Lakers on opening night.
