Brazil defeated Argentina 66 – 55 to lift the title of the South American U15 Championship for Men held at Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Brazil took the first quarter 13 – 11 and also took the second quarter to go to the halftime break with 30 – 24. After the break, Argentina fought hard to come back to the match. Going to the last quarter Brazil were leading by 1 point with the score of 53 – 52. But Brazil came out strong in the last quarter to take it by 13 – 3 and to win the championship by 66 – 55.
Hosts Venezuela defeated Chile 68 – 44 to win bronze. Top three finishers of the championship; Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela qualified for the 2015 FIBA Americas U16 Championship for Men.
