The Chicago Bulls head to San Francisco on Thursday for a matchup against the Golden State Warriors. Chicago looks to take advantage of the Dubs’ injury-plagued roster to finish a three-game road trip with a 2-1 record. Coby White is questionable, but Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic and Josh Giddey are ready to lead the Bulls.
Meanwhile, the Warriors hope to bounce back from two straight losses when they host the Bulls. Golden State will try to snap out of its skid without multiple key players. Steph Curry could be held out for the second night of a back-to-back set after taking another hit to his already sore right hand.

Chicago Bulls vs Golden State Warriors: Key matchups
Nikola Vucevic vs Trayce Jackson-Davis
Nikola Vucevic has been steady this season for the Bulls, averaging 20.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. When Vucevic gets going, Chicago can be tough to beat.
With Kevon Looney likely out with an illness, Trayce Jackson-Davis gets the job of defending the veteran big man. TJD is physical, but he will have to shadow Vucevic in the perimeter. Given the Warriors are playing on short rest and are short-handed, coach Steve Kerr will rely heavily on his young center to make an impact.
Steph Curry vs Josh Giddey
Josh Giddey has become well-acquainted with Steph Curry during his first three years in the Western Conference with the OKC Thunder. Thursday’s game will be Giddey’s first against the two-time MVP as a member of the Bulls.
Bulls coach Billy Donovan may assign Giddey to guard Curry. The former Oklahoma star has the size, speed and anticipation to do the job, but he will likely need help.
Stopping the Warriors' superstar is on top of the Bulls’ to-do list. With several key Warriors players sidelined, containing Curry will significantly enhance Chicago's chances of securing a win.
Andrew Wiggins vs Lonzo Ball or Patrick Williams
Wiggins carried the Warriors when the Sacramento Kings forced the ball out of Curry’s hands on Wednesday. To prevent the high-leaping forward from having a big scoring night, the Bulls could task Lonzo Ball or Patrick Williams to guard him.
Ball is no longer as athletic as he once was, but he makes up for it with length and defensive instincts. If Wiggins starts heating up, Billy Donovan could opt for the larger Patrick Williams to handle the assignment.
