During a recent appearance on 'Undisputed', Chris Broussard joined Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless in discussing the current state of the Lakers team. While speaking about the Lakers need to add a second All-Star, Broussard couldn't help but speculate a future pairing of LeBron and Durant.

I think if Durant went to the Lakers, I think he and LeBron would be unbeatable - Chris Broassard via Undisputed

Kevin Durant has won back to back titles with the Golden State Warriors since his move from the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016. The 30-year-old will become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2019, and most NBA insiders believe that the player will move on in order to lead his own franchise.

The New York Knicks are considered to be among the frontrunners for the 2014 MVP, although the rumours linking Durant to the Lakers refuse to go away. LeBron James himself is rumoured to want to team up with Durant in Los Angeles, although other reports have stated that Durant doesn't want to play with LeBron, and instead wants to surpass the 33-year-old as the NBA's best player.

Even if the Lakers manage to pull off an incredible deal for Durant in the 2019 offseason, the Warriors and Lakers seem on course to collide in this seasons playoffs. If the standings stay as they are right now, the teams would face each other in the first round of the playoffs.
