Colin Cowherd makes the case for Jaylen Brown after his recent comments - "Everybody is seeking a guy that comes in, works his a** off"

Jaylen Brown could be looking to leave the Boston Celtics after feeling unwanted by the organization. Colin Cowherd said that he believes the two-time All-Star is the type of player that every team should be targeting.

"Every general manager is seeking two things: One, a superstar... The other thing everybody is seeking is a guy that comes in, works his a** off, no drama, willing defender and gets better every year," Cowherd said on Fox Sports' "The Herd with Colin Cowherd."
"Every GM is looking for a guy that's willing to play some defense, coachable, no drama, and he just keeps getting better and better and he gets along with the star. Isn't that Jaylen Brown?"

Cowherd added:

"You got to be careful. Boston may never win a championship. Neither did Utah. You're not going to trade (John) Stockton and Karl Malone. ... Jaylen Brown is a really good basketball player, no drama, plays on both ends, gets along with the star in Jayson Tatum. I don't know, that feels like, after getting Giannis (Antetokounmpo), that's what everybody in the league is trying to get."

What did Jaylen Brown say about leaving the Boston Celtics?

Jaylen Brown has been instrumental to the Boston Celtics' success, however, that has not stopped the franchise from making him available in trade talks. The two-time All-Star recently expressed doubts about his long-term future with the franchise:

"I don’t know. As long as I’m needed. It’s not up to me. We’ll see how they feel about me over time and I feel about them over time. Hopefully, whatever it is, it makes sense. But I will stay where I’m wanted. I will stay where I’m needed and treated correct. I just enjoy the time that you have now. If it’s your whole career, it’s your whole career. If it’s not, it’s not."
