Injuries denied us the thrill of watching Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry in a shootout as the Blazers met the Warriors on January 20, 2021. Even with a depleted squad, the Warriors almost ran away with the win but Lillard's 25-footer at the buzzer forced overtime. They lost the game 124-129 to a formidable Portland Trail Blazers team.

Given Steph's absence, it was a one-man show as Damian Lillard ran rings around the Warriors' defense. He set a career-high in points after putting 61 past the San Francisco-based team.

To date, that remains his best individual performance, which has also added him to an exclusive three-man list of players that have scored 60+ points against the Golden State Warriors. Added to his 61 points were ten rebounds and seven assists while converting 11 of 20 from beyond the arc.

Damian Lillard lived beyond the arc in a game against the Denver Nuggets on August 6, 2020. On a night where he scored 45 points, 33 came from deep, eight from the free-throw line, and four points came from mid-range.

The Denver Nuggets had no answer to the questions Damian Lillard was asking of their defense. Offensively, they couldn't respond from deep either, as the entire team converted on only 14 three-pointers. The Blazers won the game 125-115 to secure their 32nd victory of the 2019-20 season.

Given how often Damian Lillard sinks three-pointers against the Nuggets, it is evident they do not know how to guard him from beyond the arc. But then again, who does? They are probably just the unlucky bunch to face him on a night where he is at his best.

In a bid to go ahead in the 2021 NBA Western Conference Round 1 matchup that was tied 2-2, Damian Lillard put together the performance of his life. He forced double overtime after knocking down clutch three-pointers in regulation time and OT1.

It was a record-breaking night for Damian Lillard, who made a playoff-high 12 three-pointers in a single game. As a result of his impeccable shooting, he also registered the first 55-point, 10-assist game in NBA playoff history.

Damian Lillard's efficiency is also commendable as the veteran guard converted 12 of 17 attempts from deep. Sadly, the Blazers lost the game to Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets and got kicked out of the 2021 playoffs in Game 6.
