Dennis Rodman was interviewed by Playboy back in 1997. The Chicago Bulls legend spoke about his basketball career and a lot about his sex life. In fact, Rodman even went as far as to make bold, dirty jokes about the US President getting turned on by him.
According to Dennis Rodman, he saw former US secretary Hillary Clinton on TV joking about her name having "Rodman" in it. With the way he perceived the joke, he just assumed that maybe Clinton wanted to have intercourse with the NBA legend. Rodman humorously stated that Hillary could be shouting his name instead of her husband Bill Clinton during the intimate activity.
He explained why he made such statements during the interview.
"The president of the United States gets a hard-on just thinking about me," Rodman boldly stated. "His wife was on TV, joking around that she was 'Hillary Rodman Clinton.' So maybe she was thinking about it. I can see them in bed, the president’s making love and she’s saying, 'Oh, oh, Dennis—I mean, Bill!'"

There was a time in Dennis Rodman's career when he didn't have all the tattoos and constantly dyed his hair a different color every other game. He was just a simple basketball player who played good defense for the Detroit Pistons during the "Bad Boys" era. Rodman even won defensive player of the year for two years in a row in 1990 and 1991.
With that said, why did he suddenly become the enigmatic legend we know today? According to the "Last Dance" documentary, during the NBA legend's time in Detroit, coach Chuck Daly was somewhat of a father figure to the young Rodman. While Daly decided to call it quits after winning two championships for the Pistons, 'The Worm' transformed into 'Dennis The Menace'.
The closest thing Rodman had to a father figure was taken away by Daly's resignation, and marital problems added to the strain. This led him to consider committing suicide.
The Pistons eventually granted Dennis Rodman's request for a trade, and they dealt him to the San Antonio Spurs. At this point, Rodman's persona has started to change. In San Antonio, he first started coloring his hair, and his antics off the court soon attracted as much attention as his extraordinary rebounding abilities. Additionally, he would headbutt a plethora of players in the process.
Ever since he acquired an entirely different personality, the league and fans alike have been troubled by his actions. It was difficult to get a read on him considering that no one knew when Rodman was going to clean up his act. He was literally a ticking time bomb.
Thankfully, he was given a second chance to redeem himself when offered an opportunity in Chicago. Although he still struggled to behave himself off the court, Rodman has solidified his status as one of the Bulls' all-time greats.
