Denver is currently sitting eighth in the Western Conference standings with a record of 11-8. It has struggled for consistency with Nikola Jokic carrying the team in almost every game.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers have the best record in the league at 19-3. They are off to a historic start and are looking like legitimate contenders. They are led by Donovan Mitchell and Defensive Player of the Year candidate Evan Mobley.
