Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns have started to face some adversity this season. After finding themselves at 16-7, the Suns have trended in the wrong direction.

After losing streaks of five and three games, Phoenix (20-15) is in fifth place in the Western Conference standings. One of the league's most talented teams, the Suns have nevertheless been decimated by injuries throughout the year. Players such as Cam Johnson and Chris Paul have missed extended time due to injuries.

Now it looks as if the Suns are about to deal with another extended absence. According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Suns superstar Devin Booker is expected to miss at least four weeks. Booker is dealing with a left groin strain, according to the team.

The Phoenix Suns continue to deal with an injury bug throughout the 2022-23 NBA season. The latest installment includes one of their most important pieces in star wing Devin Booker.

After missing three straight games, Booker had recently tried to give it a go on Sunday in a game against the Denver Nuggets. He played just four minutes before having to sit out due to injury.

When Booker was on the court this year, he was sensational. Booker was averaging a career-high 27.1 points per game with 4.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists. Phoenix will have to dig deep, as the Suns are already without a number of key pieces. The Suns have won just four of their last seven games.
