#5 C - Domantas Sabonis (Indiana Pacers)

Who would have thought that the deal to trade Paul George for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis would have given such instantaneous results. This was one of those deals that were best-case scenarios for both rosters. Oladipo became an All-Star from the brink of NBA demise and Sabonis, who was seen as a back up to Myles Turner, has now become a better player than him.

Domantas Sabonis has been averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds per game this season with very efficient shooting percentages of 68% from the field. He almost got himself a triple-double in the month of December. He is a 75% free throw shooter as well and has managed to keep himself relatively injury free this season.

Even if he is coming off the bench, he is playing more minutes than he ever has and is definitely a better choice than Myles Turner for this Pacers squad. He is a great pick considering the matchup against the Lakers who have been very bad defensively this season.
