Eagle-eyed fans once called out LA Lakers owner Jeanie Buss' fiancé's racially-charged tweets like "This ni**a just got called corny"

Jeanie Buss' fiancé Jay Mohr has been involved in a Twitter controversy. Shortly after news of his engagement broke, NBA fans found several controversial tweets on Mohr's profile.

Mohr used the n-word in the tweet. However, it appears that the actor saw nothing wrong with this as he defended his actions. Additionally, Jay still hasn't deleted the tweet as it's still visible on his official profile.

This tweet isn't the only controversy that Jeanie Buss' fiancé has been involved in. He's used several other racial slurs, which is why many Los Angeles Lakers fans are upset that the team owner is engaged to the actor.

Jay Mohr has been active for more than three decades. During his acting career, Jeanie Buss' fiancé has appeared in more than 80 shows and movies, including "Jerry Maguire" and "Garry Unmarried."

Besides comedy, Mohr is also a big fan of sports, which is what eventually led to his relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers owner. The two bonded over their love for comedy and sports, and are now engaged.

While Mohr has kept a relatively low profile and is certainly not an A-list celebrity, many NBA fans are upset with him. The actor is not very active on his official Twitter profile, but some of his old tweets make him look awful.

As you can see in the tweet above, the comedian used the n-word several times. On one occasion, he directly quoted Muhammad Ali, the boxing legend, and used a racial slur in his tweet.

To make the situation worse, Jay Mohr defended his actions on Twitter and implied that he did nothing wrong. Additionally, some of the tweets are still publicly available on his official profile, which makes the entire situation even worse.

Considering that the actor has used racial slurs several times, many fans expect him to publicly apologize for his behavior. Mohr, whose Twitter bio claims that he's the greatest living comedian, is no longer active on the platform and his latest tweet is from August 3, 2022.

Two years after divorcing Chamberlain, Mohr married Nikki Cox, an actress. The two met on the set of "Las Vegas" and tied the knot in 2006. The marriage lasted for more than a decade as the two divorced in 2018.

Mohr's relationship with Jeanie Buss was publicly confirmed in September 2021. While their wedding date hasn't been revealed yet, it may happen next summer.
