Each time the Lakers and the Celtics have a game against each other, the hype around it increases. Their longtime rivalry is a big reason behind it, which is why fans watch their matches religiously. Tuesday night was another edition of Los Angeles versus Boston.

The Celtics won 122-118 in overtime and a former player for the team watched his team win. Pierce was featured in a video after the game where he taunted James, using "The Silencer" celebration and calling on the four-time champion.

"Hey, LeBron, that's game!" Pierce celebrated.

Fans didn't hold back and mocked the Hall of Fame player. Here are some of the best fan reactions from Pierce's latest taunting of James.

The game between the two storied franchises ended in overtime as Jayson Tatum had 44 points, including one clutch basket, with nine rebounds and six assists. His co-star, Jaylen Brown, had 25 points, 15 rebounds and five assists to help the Celtics win.

Statistically, the Lakers' Big Three had great games. But it wasn't enough for them to get the win. Anthony Davis led the way with 37 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. Russell Westbrook came off the bench and had 20 points, 14 rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes. James didn't disappoint as he had 33 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.

With this win for the Celtics, Pierce has good reason to have fun and showboat.

Paul Pierce doesn't get enough respect from the fans nowadays

Paul Pierce is one of the best players to ever suit up for the Boston Celtics. He spent 15 seasons as a pillar of the foundation of the franchise, resulting in one championship in 2008. He's long retired and has had stints as an analyst, but that didn't work out well for him.

Younger fans glorify LeBron's greatness, but in doing so, they tend to overlook and execute poor research on past players. Pierce has had that experience now, as he's often mocked by fans for his controversial "wheelchair game" and not being able to win multiple titles with the Celtics.

His resume may not be as stacked as James', but he's still one of the best. That was especially true in the 2000s, when he went toe-to-toe with the best players around the association like Kobe Bryant and Tracy McGrady on a nightly basis. Pierce may not be a talent like James, but he influenced the league in an enormous way.
