PG13 had agreed to an extension this summer with the Thunder, making everyone wonder why he would sign up to play with Russell Westbrook, who is widely considered to be a selfish player. But Westbrook's injuries plus a change in the way he plays have helped out George's game a lot.
He is scoring 24 points per game on an average, along with 8 rebounds and 4 assists. In his last game against the Pelicans, George had 25 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. He also managed to get 2 steals and a block, underlying his elite defensive abilities.
Alternative pick: Bogdan Bogdanovic (Sacramento Kings)
