Five Indians amongst tournament's top performers as India’s FIBA Asia U16 campaign ends on a winning note

Underlining their continuing development, the Indian boys’ basketball squad have ended their 2015 FIBA Asia U16 Championship on a positive note with a 80-70 win over Hong Kong. The side has now finished the Championship in 13th position.

After the conclusion of all their 4 games, 5 Indian players are currently among the top 10 performers across varied statistical categories: Captain P Baladhaneshwar in points per game, 2 point field goal percentage, steals and efficiency; Forward Ankit Joshi in 3 point shooting percentage; Manoj Sisodia in assists per game; centres Harshwardhan Tomar and Adarsh Jayakumar in blocks per game.
