#2 Ben Simmons

Simmons in action against the Brooklyn Nets this season

Initially the runaway choice for this season's Rookie of the Year award, Ben Simmons has remained impressive during his debut NBA year despite the emergence of Donovan Mitchell.

At 6'10, he can play any position on the court and still be a nightmare match-up for opponents to contend with. Averaging 17 points, 7.5 assists and 8 rebounds per game, the 21-year-old can give you a triple double on any given night and will be a key centrepiece for the Philadelphia 76ers during the years to come.

One of those players whom many consider a generational talent, it's very rare to see a man of his height be so well-rounded. Fans and experts alike are amazed by just how much he has accomplished already during his first year as a professional so naturally, they expect him to be a multiple time All-Star by the time his promising career is complete.
