German players celebrate their victory in the U23 World Wheelchair Basketball Champioship

Germany defeated Sweden 69 – 65 to win the 2013 U23 Men’s World Wheelchair Basketball Championship at Adana, Turkey. First half of the match was draw with both teams scoring 34 points each but Germany were a better side in the second half of the match as they took the second half 35 – 31 to win the gold medal in the 2013 U23 Men’s World Wheelchair Basketball Championship.

Meanwhile, Australia defeated Great Britain 54 – 52 to win the bronze medal in the championship. Iran defeated Canada 67 - 38 to secure 5th place in the championship while Canada finished in sixth place.
