Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has become one of the NBA's most dominant players. The 27-year-old forward has arguably turned into the best basketball player in the entire world.

If there was any doubt, his start to this season should serve as proof. Milwaukee (5-0) finds itself atop the Eastern Conference led by the dominance of their superstar. The league knows just how impressive Antetokounmpo can be.

That's what is expected of a back-to-back MVP winner. But Antetokounmpo looks to have taken his game to another platform this season. So far, Giannis is averaging 34.4 points, 14.0 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.

Antetokounmpo's remarkable play has gotten the attention of many, including ESPN writer Zach Lowe. On a recent episode of "The Lowe Post: podcast, Lowe was joined by former NBA veteran Richard Jefferson and said:

"I just like to look at these numbers, because they're funny. With Giannis on the floor, the Bucks are plus-19 per 100 Possessions. Plus-19, that's like Globetrotters' level numbers. With Giannis Off the floor and only 42 minutes, minus-11. You (Jefferson) didn't call the Nets-Bucks game, but that was, like, a very simple game.
"When Giannis was on the floor and decided, 'I'm going to go to the basket instead of play around shooting these little jump shots that everyone wants me to shoot, the Nets had no chance.' And when Giannis was off the floor, the Nets were winning that game. In that game, I don't know if you saw that game but once he started going to the basket like (Ben) Simmons had no shot.
"He was just going around him. He was drop-stepping on the baseline. His passing's better. He's been scary for a long time, but he looks like a man in full. Like, 'I got it all now. My jumper, maybe, I'll never have, but, like. I don't really care. Like, I can get where I want to go against anybody now."

Giannis Antetokounmpo off to strong start

The Milwaukee Bucks have stormed out of the gates as one of the NBA's top teams. After rattling off five straight victories, the Bucks will look to make it six in a row on Monday night against the Detroit Pistons.

After a disappointing end to last season, it looks as if Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have come out determined. Milwaukee was one of the strongest teams in the second half of the previous season. The team was firing on all cylinders until fellow star Khris Middleton went down with an injury.

Milwaukee lost in seven games in the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Boston Celtics. From there, it was clear that the Bucks would be determined to remind the NBA of their ability.

So far, that message is being delivered to the rest of the league. Giannis Antetokounmpo knows that his team has the talent to make another run at the NBA Finals. If he can continue to keep up this type of play, the Bucks will be a force throughout the season.
