Hosts Bangladesh have been crowned the champions of the inaugural edition of the South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) 3×3 Men’s Basketball Championship after they defeated Maldives 21-7 in the last match of the championship which was held at Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The hosts defeated all the participating countries to lift the trophy. They beat Bhutan 22-9, Sri Lanka 20-9, Nepal 20-18 and Maldives 21-9 en-route to their triumph.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka won silver and Nepal secured third position in the championship.

After India, Pakistan and Afghanistan pulled out of the championship, five countries of South Asia – Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Sri Lanka battled it out for 3×3 supremacy in South Asia.
