As soon as the match between Bengaluru Beast and Hyderabad Sky started, the latter unveiled their best game, scoring multiple 3 pointers in the first two minutes. The score was 19-5 in favour of Hyderabad within just five minutes.
But then came the Bangalore Beast’s marvellous show. Chetan (15) of the Beast scored a bunch of 3 pointers in the quarter, while Sahi (9) starred throughout the match with some magnificent plays.
It was 32-35 when the first half whistle was blown, Beast holding a slender lead. The second half was a tough fight between the two teams as Hyderabad Sky came back with their own strategies, manning Beast’s key players and blocking them from scoring their share of baskets. For some time it was Hyderabad controlling the game, but Beast came back with more power, after which they dominated the game until the end.
The last five minutes of the final quarter were incredibly thrilling. The score was 70-71 in favour of Hyderabad, with a 3 pointer keeping their hopes alive. But with a few seconds remaining, Bangalore scored a 2 pointer and claimed a superb win.
Final Score: Hyderabad Sky 73 (Ganesh 18, Sujith 11, Liju 11) lost to Bangalore Beast 76 (Chetan 18, Sahi 16, Kaif 14).
