The Los Angeles Lakers are on the brink of a sweep and they would need the presence of Anthony Davis to get a puncher's chance of securing at least a victory in this best-of-seven series. Game 4 is set to happen this April 27 and it is going to take place at the Crypto.com Arena located in Los Angeles, California.

According to the latest injury report from the Lakers camp, Davis is available to play tonighy after being listed as questionable to play due to a wrist injury. At the same time, LeBron James is listed as 'probable, as the 39-year-old NBA veteran is nursing an ankle injury.

Not expected to play are Christian Wood, Cam Reddish and Jalen Hood-Schifino. Jarred Vanderbilt is expected to return by May but the Lakers would need to extend this series to stall for his return.

After dropping 11 straight games to the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Lakers are still trying to figure out how to beat the defending champions.

The closest that they were able to secure a victory was in Game 2 but Jamal Murray spoiled the party with a game-winning buzzer-beater fadeaway shot against Anthony Davis.

What happened to Anthony Davis?

Anthony Davis has been an injury-prone player and that is why the LA Lakers have been trying to manage his playing time during the regular season.

However, the recent wrist injury reported by the Lakers has been the first time in Davis' career since February 2022. Other reported injuries that Davis had this season were due to his back, eye, knee, Achilles, shoulder, ankle and hip.

Still, the 31-year-old center is expected to play, as the Lakers would need him to match up with two-time MVP Nikola Jokic.

In the three games that Anthony Davis has played against the Denver Nuggets, he has been giving it all, averaging 32.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 blocks in 42 minutes of playing time. He shoots 61.5% of his field goals and does 85% from the free throw line.

Davis' highest point output was in Game 1 with 33 points while also giving the Lakers 15 boards. It remains to be seen if he can eclipse this performance in Game 4.
