Bradley Beal is listed as day-to-day on the Phoenix Suns’ injury report for their game against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. Fans are advised to keep tracking the three-time All-Star's game status as more information is likely to be made available after the morning shootaround or closer to tipoff.

Beal was a part of the Suns’ 120-112 NBA Emirates Cup win against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday but left early in the fourth quarter with left calf tightness. Before exiting the game, Beal scored 24 points on 8-for-15 shooting, including 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe. He played 29 minutes and 20 seconds and also recorded four assists, two steals and a block.

The Suns, who are tied for the best record in the West at 9-2, have already been without Bradley Beal for two games this season due to an elbow injury.

Beal spoke about Tuesday’s injury after the game, via The Arizona Republic’s Duane Rankin:

“It just got tight on me. I think it was probably lingering from the knee injury last game. ... It should be alright, it was just a little precautionary, got one tomorrow."
“It feels good. It's a little tight still, but I should be good tomorrow. We'll see how I feel in the morning.”

Phoenix coach Mike Budenholzer touched on the topic as well:

“We'll just see how he does - how he wakes up - what the medical team has for us tomorrow.”

Beal has played in nine games this season, averaging 17.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.9 blocks in 34.8 minutes per game.
