Bronny James is not on the LA Lakers' injury report for their game against the Toronto Raptors on Friday. While he is not listed on the injury report, James playing is not a guarantee as he has featured in only two of the Lakers’ five games this season. His playing status could eventually come down to coach JJ Redick’s decision during the game.

It isn’t surprising to see Bronny James mostly ride the bench, as this season is seen as a year of growth for the rookie guard. He is expected to spend time and develop his game in the G-League.

While James is fit to play for the LA Lakers if called upon, the team is not without injury concerns. Christian Wood (left knee), Jarred Vanderbilt (foot) and Christian Koloko (illness) continue to be out for the 17-time NBA champions.

Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell are listed as probable on the injury report and should play against the Raptors. This is a key game for the Lakers as they have now lost two straight after starting the season 3-0.

LeBron James called Bronny James getting his basket in Cleveland “unbelievable moment”

While great things were already expected of LeBron James from the time he was in high school, nothing is guaranteed in the NBA and players have to work their heart out to achieve greatness. LeBron’s journey to being the player he is today started with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003.

It seemed befitting that Bronny James got his first NBA regular-season points at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Wednesday. While the LA Lakers lost 134-110, nothing could dampen the special moment for the James family. LeBron spoke about Bronny James’ first basket after the game, via NBA:

“To see him get his first NBA basket in this arena, where he grew up not too far away from here, that’s an unbelievable moment.Unbelievable moment for him, and for our family it’s just pretty cool to be a part of it.”
